Calling at the less explored ports as well as the historic centers in Croatia, Montenegro and Italy, the seven-night Croatia & Montenegro itinerary offers guests the opportunity to get away from tourism centers and enjoy the local flavors and cultures of these hidden gems. The majestic clipper ship will sail roundtrip out of Venice every Saturday from June 27 through August 22, 2026, with fares starting at $2,570 per person, double.

In Croatia, guests take in Šibenik, a charming coastal town on the Adriatic Coast that offers all the charm and rich history of Split and Dubrovnik but with fewer tourists and a culinary heritage tied to its fertile soil. Another Croatian pearl is Vis (Komiza), founded in 397 B.C., and whose beautiful beaches are almost untouched by tourism. Rovinj, with its numerous churches, monuments and long history, and Dubrovnik, showing off its colorful history and 10^th-century city walls round off the Croatian visits.

Founded by the Romans and strengthened during the Byzantine era, Montenegro’s Kotor is as unspoiled a town as can be visited along the Adriatic Sea. Known as “cat city” due to its many stray cats being part of its history and culture, the winding streets, Romanesque churches and natural scenery make for a nice stroll before settling in for a beer or coffee at one of the many charming cafes.

The birthplace of the 19th-century opera composer Gioachino Rossini, Pesaro, Italy offers a relaxed seaside atmosphere and cherishes its place as a UNESCO Creative City of Music. Guests can take in Rossini’s house and museum, cathedrals and churches that date back to the 5^th century, stroll the promenade with its views of the Adriatic or enjoy any of the scenic beaches.

Boasting 42 sails with nearly 56,000 square feet of sail area, the 227-guest Royal Clipper offers guests a step back in time combining the classic character of an old-world sailing ship with the comforts of a modern cruise ship.
