This December, our all-suite Star Explorer begins her first season in the Mediterranean. Guests sailing during those opening weeks will be among the first Windstar travelers to experience our newest yacht.
Across her inaugural voyages, Star Explorer traces the water past Nice’s curve of coastline and Genoa’s historic port, down to the Rock of Gibraltar and Málaga’s winter sun, then east into the Adriatic as far as Dubrovnik’s walls. This is the Mediterranean at yacht scale: quiet harbors, comfortable weather, and a coastline that feels within reach every step of the journey.
On board, Star Explorer welcomes just 224 guests, delivering the intimate experience that defines Windstar. Nearly every suite features a private veranda or a floor-to-ceiling infinity window that opens to let in the breeze. Guests can also unwind at the World Spa by Windstar, where treatments featuring warmed Himalayan salt stones are designed to melt away the miles of the day.
And this is only the beginning. Star Explorer sails in Europe year-round, creating ongoing opportunities for clients to explore more of the Mediterranean and beyond.
