Miami, FL, August 2026 – There are faster ways to cross the Atlantic, but few can rival the experience of doing it beneath thousands of square feet of billowing sails. In 2027, Star Clippers is offering travelers multiple opportunities to make the journey aboard one of its authentic tall ships, trading crowded ports and busy sightseeing schedules for open horizons, expansive teak decks and the timeless rhythm of life at sea. For many travelers, the appeal lies precisely in those long days at sea.

For a limited time, Star Clippers is adding extra value to four of those crossings. Guests making new bookings in Categories 2–6 by September 30, 2026, receive an $800 air credit per cabin plus two massages per person. The offer is subject to availability and applicable terms and conditions and is only valid for residents of te US, Canada and Latin America.

Ocean crossings are among Star Clippers’ most distinctive voyages. With days unfolding under sail and few interruptions from the outside world, guests have time to experience the ship itself rather than simply using it as transportation between destinations. Days can begin slowly over breakfast, reconnecting with your significant other away from the stresses of daily life. Or dive into books put aside due to busy schedules, converse with newfound friends at the Tropical Bar, share stories over relaxed meals, and breathe in the fresh sea air and let the mind wander with the steady pace and sounds of the ship in the background. And, of course, end the day beneath a canopy of stars far from the lights of land – with a much deserved drink in hand.

Guests can watch the crew handle the sails, learn more about navigation and seamanship, climb the rigging, hang out in the bowsprit netting, relax beside the pool or find a quiet corner of teak deck with nothing on the horizon but sea and sky. With a maximum of just 166 guests aboard Star Clipper and Star Flyer, the atmosphere is intimate and informal, more reminiscent of a private yacht than a conventional cruise ship.

Eastbound Atlantic – St. John’s, Antigua to Malaga, Spain

Departing April 3, 2027, Star Clipper sails a 20-night voyage from St. John’s in Antigua to Spain’s Malaga, priced from $3,660. After nearly two weeks at sea, the ship calls at Ponta Delgada in the Azores, where guests can explore the historic center, sample local cuisine, visit volcanic landscapes and crater lakes, or simply enjoy the colorful waterfront before continuing east toward Spain.

Westbound Atlantic – Malaga, Spain to St. John’s, Antigua

Departing October 27, 2027, Star Clipper embarks on a 24-night voyage, priced from $4,960. Before beginning the long westward Atlantic passage, the itinerary includes calls at Ceuta and Cádiz, Spain; Tangier and Casablanca, Morocco; and the Canary Islands. Along the way, guests can wander Cádiz’s atmospheric old town, experience Tangier’s medina and markets, discover Casablanca’s blend of traditional and modern Moroccan culture, and enjoy the dramatic scenery and distinctive island character of the Canaries before setting sail for the Caribbean.

Westbound Atlantic – Las Palmas, Gran Canaria to St. John’s, Antigua

Guests preferring a shorter sailing can join Star Clipper in Las Palmas on November 5, 2027, for a 15-night crossing, priced from $3,100. Following a call at San Sebastián on La Gomera, guests can stroll the compact historic center, learn about the island’s connections to the voyages of Christopher Columbus, or venture into La Gomera’s rugged interior, known for steep valleys, mountain scenery and ancient laurel forests. From there, the ship turns west for an extended stretch of uninterrupted ocean sailing before arriving in Antigua.

Westbound Atlantic – Las Palmas, Gran Canaria to St. Maarten

Departing November 12, 2027, Star Flyer sails a 15-night Atlantic crossing to St. Maarten, priced from $3,270. The voyage also visits San Sebastián, La Gomera, giving guests an opportunity to explore the island’s historic streets, cafés and natural landscapes before the ship begins its passage across the Atlantic and makes landfall in the Caribbean.
