Star Clippers Opens Fall/Winter 2026/2027 Sailings For Bookings

The turquoise waters of the Caribbean, Costa Rica and Panama beckon

Miami, FL, June 2025 – Star Clippers’ has announced their Fall/Winter 2026-2027 season and made more than 50 departures available to book. The season, beginning in October and running through late March, offers guests an assortment of unique sailings in the Caribbean, Costs Rica, Panama and Colombia as well as Atlantic Ocean crossings and holiday escapes. Guests can take a step back in time to enjoy truly authentic sailings on the line’s three tall state-of-the-art clipper ships. All sailing itineraries are detailed on the Star Clippers website, and can be booked by calling Star Clippers at 800-442-0551 or through a travel agent.

Transatlantic crossings have been a staple of the cruise industry for nearly 200 years — and Star Clippers offers an unparalleled crossing experience onboard a true sailing ship. The 2026 16-day westbound Atlantic crossings include Royal Clipper departing Lisbon for the journey to Bridgetown on October 16, 2026; Star Flyer will depart Las Palmas on her sailing to St. Maarten on November 13; and Star Clipper will sail from Las Palmas on November 20 to takes guests to Bridgetown before she makes her way to a Panama Canal sailing.

Royal Clipper, the world’s largest five-masted, full-rigged sailing ship in service, offers 227 guests the unique opportunity to experience Panama Canal crossings reminiscent of some of the first vessels to sail through the famed canal, as well as rare stops in Colombia’s Cartagena de Indias and Santa Marta.  The two 14-night departures sail October 31 from Barbados and November 14 from Balboa, Panama. The Grenadines and Windward Islands fill in the rest of the season’s schedule with port calls in Antigua, Barbados, St. Kitts and others.

Star Clipper will spend the first half of the season sailing the lush coastlines of Costa Rica and Panama. These exciting itineraries take guests to tranquil beaches on idyllic Isla Tortuga, Costa Rica and “deserted islands” such as Isla San Jose in the Pearl Islands. From February on, the 166-guest clipper ship explores the unspoiled islands of the Grenadines and the vibrant culture of Antigua as well as Martinique, St. Lucia, Tobago and Barbados.

The 166-guest Star Flyer sails out of St. Maarten roundtrip on two different seven-night itineraries.  The Leeward Islands itinerary offers Guadeloupe’s natural underwater splendor, picturesque Martinique’s rich history and charming French culture, and a fascinating boat ride traversing a steamy orchid-festooned rainforest in Cabrits, Dominica. The Treasure Islands sailings call on favorite ports in the BVI as well as Anguilla, St. Barts and St. Kitts.

Sailing from island to island in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean is another dreamy way to spend the Christmas holiday or ring in the New Year. Star Clippers offers multiple ways to make this dream come true. Star Flyer showcases the spirit with Leeward Christmas (Christmas in St. Barts) and Treasure New Year (the eve is split between two St. Kitts ports), while Star Clipper takes guests from Panama to Costa Rica for Christmas and in reverse for New Year’s Eve, where both holidays are enjoyed in Islas Tortugas, Costa Rica. Royal Clipper does a Winward Christmas and a Grenadines New Year, sailing round trip from Barbados and celebrating a beach Christmas in Martinique and New Year’s Day in St. Lucia

For more than 25 years, Star Clippers has been introducing travelers to the thrill of modern tall ship sailing to remote ports in the Caribbean, Mediterranean and Central America. The company operates three of the world’s largest and tallest sailing vessels: Star Clipper and Star Flyer are traditional clipper ships with modern amenities carrying 166 guests, while the 227-guest Royal Clipper holds the Guinness World Record for being the largest and only five-masted, full-rigged sailing ship in service today. All three ships have expansive teak decks, swimming pools, informal dining, convivial tropical bars on deck and piano lounges.
